The Pulkkot Literary House, built in traditional Japanese housing style in 1930, was opened as a literature center on October 17, 2014. While most other literary houses in Korea have been established in the form of an exhibition hall, the Pulkkot Literary House is where poet Na Tae-joo gives lectures for and speaks with writers, aspiring writers and visitors. Thus, it is regarded as a place that promotes literature and communication among those who appreciate literature and stimulates the general public’s interest in literature.
This is a place where visitors can escape the hustle and bustle of life and unwind and relax in the rustic atmosphere, while healing their minds and souls.
